Operation Reconnect Partnership

We’re proud of and humbled by our recent partnership with Operation ReConnect, a nonprofit that provides free beach vacations to military families right here along the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Operation ReConnect was established to reduce the strain and disconnection that military families often face during multiple-month deployments. Balancing military duties with everyday family life is difficult not only for the deployed service member but also for the spouses, children, and support systems left behind. That’s why Operation ReConnect focuses on serving not just veterans, but the entire family unit. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to provide the Gift of Time. By offering complimentary accommodations along the Gulf Coast, Operation ReConnect creates opportunities for service members and their families to spend uninterrupted, quality time together after long months apart. Since its founding, the organization has hosted more than 1,500 military families, supported by over $3 million in donations from more than 20,000 individuals.

For families, the experience is priceless. For owners and property managers, participation is what makes this mission possible. Donating even a single vacant week can have an impact greater than words can measure.

We are so excited that our Operation ReConnect week is coming up this November, coinciding with Veterans Day. Several of our generous owners have already donated their vacant units for this special week, and we would love to include more properties in this effort.

As an owner with iTrip Vacations Alabama Beaches, you have the optional opportunity to participate in a meaningful way by donating one (1) off-season week per year. Operation ReConnect will provide you with a tax-deductible receipt for your donated week.

Of course, if you prefer not to participate, that’s perfectly fine. Nothing changes with the management of your property.
