What You Should Know About: Xplorie Changes for 2024

We have exciting changes to share about our Xplorie program! As we do every year, we recently met with our partners at Xploire to review 2023. We evaluated usage data and guest feedback from the previous year and discussed ways to enhance and fine-tune our offerings.

The most popular activity again this year was the dolphin cruises. You may recall that we added an additional dolphin cruise vendor in 2022 due to its popularity. The Zoo and golf round out the top three popular Xplorie activities for guests in 2023. The least popular activity was The Park at OWA, so we decided to remove it from our program for 2024.

To add more dimension to our offerings, beginning this year we are adding parasailing through Blue Sky Parasail and Watersports. This vendor partner will have five parasailing locations > Bahama Bob's, Perdido Key, Pink Pony Pub, Seawinds, and The Beach Club. Parasailing has been an extremely popular activity in other destinations and we are excited about being able to offer this to our guests.

We began this valuable partnership with Xplorie in 2017, through which our guests have access to FREE admission to some of the most popular attractions in our area. Additionally, as an itripvacations property owner, you have access to UNLIMITED use of Xplorie activities anytime you are here at your property. We have several owners that golf every morning at no cost every time they are here. This program is funded by adding a minimal amount to the daily rent the guest pays, while still keeping the rates competitive. One incredible benefit of our Xplorie partnership is Xplorie Xtras. This benefit allows our guest services team to offer additional Xplorie activities to resolve guest issues instead of giving refunds on rent. This is huge from a financial perspective, but also enhances the guest’s overall experience and typically leads to a very positive review, which helps increase future bookings. In 2023, our team provided more than $8500 in activities to resolve guest issues through the Xplorie Xtras program. That's $8500 that did not come out of any property owner's rental proceeds!!
