What you Should Know About: Xplor!e Changes

We have exciting additions to share about our Xplor!e program. After evaluating usage data and guest feedback from the previous years, we worked with Xplor!e to enhance and fine-tune our offerings. Here are the changes:

• The most popular activity by far has been the Cetacean dolphin cruises, so we added an additional dolphin cruise partner - Southern Rose Dolphin Tour.

• At long last our new ‘Little Zoo That Could’ is open, and so we have officially added the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo as an Xplor!e activity.

• Last year we added Tropic Falls Theme Park at OWA. The brand new Tropic Falls Water Park at OWA will be added when it officially opens in June.

• We have removed The Escape Room and Waterville from our program.

These incredible activities have all been added without any increase in the price of our program.

One incredible benefit of our Xplorie partnership that you may not be aware of is Xplor!e Xtras. This benefit allows our guest services team to offer additional Xplor!e activities to resolve guest issues instead of giving refunds on rent. This is huge from a financial perspective, but also enhances the guest’s overall experience and usually leads to a very positive review which helps increase future bookings. In 2021, our team provided more than $8K in Cetacean Dolphin Cruises and Zeke’s Lady Deep Sea Fishing trips to resolve guest issues through the Xplor!e Xtras program.

As a refresher, in 2017 we began this valuable partnership with Xplor!e, through which our guests have access to FREE admission to some of the most popular attractions in our area. Additionally, as an itripvacations property owner, you have access to UNLIMITED use of Xplor!e activities. This program is funded by adding a minimal amount to the daily rent the guest pays, while still keeping the rates competitive.
