KATHY'S CORNER
I have a few updates to share with you as we begin the downhill slide to the end of summer:
• We have received the shipment of linens and blankets and have begun the transition to triple sheeting. If you are planning a trip to your property in the near future, please feel free to check in with me and we’ll work together to ensure your bed coverings are bagged up and ready for you to take home with you.
• Yes, the Shrimp Fest has been canceled. This saddens all of us here at itripvacations! Who doesn’t love a yummy cajun pistol? With that announcement and revised health orders in the state and throughout the country, cancellations are on the rise again. Our revenue management team is working diligently to rebook the now vacant dates.
• Please know that as we head into fall, rates will drop with the season as well. This is where dynamic pricing comes into play as rates for your property will most likely change on a daily basis in an effort to produce revenue. We appreciate the confidence you have placed in us to get the job done.
• Many of you have homeowners’ meetings this fall. If you are planning a trip to your second home, bring your mask! In addition to Governor Ivey’s order requiring masks in public, most of the homeowners’ associations have released notices requiring masks when in the buildings and elevators.
As always, we thank you for the trust you have placed in us, especially in these ever-changing times. Stay well.
