2024 Summer Rental Season Report Card: As you can see from the chart below, once again, iTrip Vacations Alabama Beaches solidly outpaced the market with respect to occupancy during the 2024 peak rental season. We averaged 12.6% above the market occupancy. This information is provided by Key Data.

It’s more critical than ever to keep your property updated! With supply high and softer demand, you’re competing with thousands of other rental units in our area. Did you know there are currently 18,009 rental units in Gulf Shores, OBA, and Ft. Morgan—with 1,712 more in progress or proposed?

Here’s why updates matter:

  • Updated units can earn 15-25% higher rental rates than dated ones.

  • Properties with fresh décor and modern amenities are rented 30% faster, reducing vacancies and boosting revenue.
